(More customer reviews)The Connectland Numeric Keypad is a plug-and-play USB device that allows the user to enter digits into documents or the calculator on your computer or laptop. There is no installation disk. You simply plug it into a USB port and start using. Or so it stated in the ad. In truth, although my laptop did recognize the device, and said it was working properly, it did not want to work. I had to update the device driver, and do other internal stuff before it started working. Your laptop or computer may allow it to work right away. Each laptop is different. Now that it is working, I really enjoy the function and design of it. Having the space bar over to the side is very comfortable for my thumb, and all the keys are within easy reach.
