(More customer reviews)Hello there all. I Upgraded to this video card back on my Birthday ( Dec 29 ) of last year ( 2009 ).
My previous video card was a VisionTek Radeon HD 2400 Pro OC edition.
Specs of both cards are as follows.VisionTek = 256 mb memory , 64bit interface , VGA - DVI and HDMI connections.
Overall this video card had served me well for 3+ years.
I had gotten this card so i could use an HDMI Equipped Monitor as my main Display.
At the time i bought this card , it was under $70 dollars with tax for it.Sapphire Vapor-X = 1 GB GDDR5 Memory , 128 Bit Interface , Direct-X 11 , DVI - Display Port and HDMI Conenctions.
This Video Card has Exceeded the Performance needs of mine.
It can be Overclocked due to the Vapor-X cooling. I have not done any overclocking of the card yet.
Also as a result of the Vapor-X cooling , it runs cooler then I expected.
Another benefit of the Vapor-X Cooling is the Lower Noise of the card.
I have a Mid-Tower ATX case ; this card fit nicely inside of it and can barely hear it's fan.
Only down side to this card is that the Entire Radeon HD 5XXX series is that - there is a glitch that
allows the Mouse Pointer to MORPH into a LARGER size on its own , there is a slightly older version of
the ATI Graphic drivers ( Ver 9.12 Hotfix ) that corrects the Morphing Mouse Problem.
Most current version of the Driver software is 10.1 though ; but as far as i know , there isn't a
Hotfix version that corrects the Morphing Mouse problem yet.
I am running in a ( HD screen size - 1920 x 1080 ) { 1080P } screen mode for all you HD fans.
Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon HD-5750 handles this screen size really nicely and i havent noticed any
slowdown in using it as my default screen size for my computer.
If your computer has at least one PCI Express 2.0 16X port and you are thinking of upgrading to a newer
Video Card - The Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon HD-5750 would be a great choice if your budget would allow for a
purchase of $140 dollars to $170 dollars.
