In fact, if you're hurting for space on your work area, this might be a nice alternative to a regular mouse, except you might have to find some way of extending the reach of the cord depending on your situation. It falls short of 5 stars for no retractability, which would have made portability SO much easier. Still, it's a great little mouse. The teflon feet will slide over just about anything, so you don't have to have a mouse pad if you don't want one. It doesn't take as much pressure to click as with some other mice I've had, which really helps to reduce strain on my finger. It seems like a minor thing, but it does make a huge difference for me. Plus, if you're a leftie, or you just like to switch mouse hands, this mouse fits either hand comfortably. Just plug it in and go!
